I am the producer and sometime co-host of the Secret Frequency. In addition to political podcasts I enjoy fiction (both read and dramatized) and crafting casts.

coopette.com - Alternative Kitchen Garden - Mar 11, 2008

Rating:

Short, sweet gardening spots which are timed to the English climate. Emma has a wonderful voice and is a pleasure to listen to.

This is, apparently, the podcast version of a radio show. The information is good, the music is good, but the pacing didn't appeal to me, and I won't be downloading the next episode for that reason. Definitely worth checking out though if you are interested in organic gardening.
SomaCow - Mar 8, 2008

In general, I dislike 'radio morning shows', internet or not. This one, however, is really funny. I MUST hear more, and you must too.
How It All Ends (MP4) - Mar 5, 2008

Rating:

Great video series dealing with Global Warming from a risk management perspective.
Ecogeeks : Science Video Podcast - Mar 5, 2008

Rating:

Fun, fast shows each based around a very simple fact, not a full lesson.
green.tv - technologies - Mar 5, 2008

Rating:

Good, short vid casts by independant film makers about various environmental projects. Good, but I'd like 'learn more' links in the show notes.
Debunk the Liberals - Mar 5, 2008

Rating:

This must be the 'kindest gentlest' podcast ever to come out of the rant-wing...
For Whatever Reason - Mar 4, 2008

Rating:

A good, solid couple's podcast. The 'chemistry' didn't work for me, but I think it will appeal to many listeners. If you like daily life podcasts, make sure to give it a chance.
The Voice of Free Planet X - Mar 4, 2008

Rating:

Original fiction, nicely produced. Worth listening to.
Galactica Quorum - Mar 2, 2008

Rating:

A fun SF media roundtable discussion. A great way for fans to 'get their geek on'.
The Command Line Podcast (MP3 Feed) - Mar 1, 2008

Rating:

A show about various computer issues, ranging from programming to hacking to news and politics. A bit on the technical side for my own use, but a good, thoughtful speaker and a good source of news.
Emerald City Blues - Mar 1, 2008

Rating:

A left-wing political analysis show presented by two brothers living in Washington DC. Not heavy on 'bling', but still fun to listen to.
Second Shift: An original fantasy Podplay (web-quality audio version) - Feb 28, 2008

Rating:

This is an engaging fantasy podcast. It is really a little bit character study, a little bit coming of age tale, and a little bit of humor all worked into a dimensional gateway storyline. Lots of fun.
My History Can Beat Up Your Politics - Aug 21, 2007

Rating:

The most recent episode is short, sweet and smart. A 'must hear' for every American voter, if only to broaden our understanding of the system, how it works, and how it has worked in the past. Very straight forward and too the point without being too dry.
SSK - Aug 21, 2007

Rating:

The two hosts are clearly enjoying themselves, and are enjoyable to listen to. It does, however, leave this reviewer feeling a bit old... Wide ranging discussion, and at least moderate knitting content.

Rating:

Lots of hemming and hawing here, and she doesn't sound as though she is having fun. Too much hostility being vented here for my taste. Much whining and name calling before she got around to talking about knitting at all.
Cast On - Aug 21, 2007

Rating:

Knit, knit like the wind! A mixture of knitting discussion, music, humor, and the life of Brenda Dayne, all held together by a backdrop of varied pod-safe music. I love it for the knitting, and can listen to it with a minimum of snark from my husband.
Decoder Ring Theatre - Aug 21, 2007

Rating:

I LOVE it! It's like classic pulp with a nod to modern sensibilities (strong female characters, no racial comments, you get the idea) and a strong sense of fun.
Prometheus Radio Theatre - Aug 21, 2007

Rating:

The show is mostly episodes of "The Arbiter Chronicles", an original space opera in radio-play format set in a richly developed ficional "Confederation". Lots of sex and libertarian philosophy, as well as discussion of religion vs rationality, and a smattering of other social issues. There are occasional one-shot radio plays (with the same cast) and a few story readings. Great fun.
