Not trying to bash anyone from playing the game, I just don't here much about second life.

There's not much talk about anything here anymore.

I know that many podcasters were into it but I don't know how popular it is at the moment. I played with it a bit but I don't want to get into anything more that would take up time.

That's why I've always said (Under my various aliases I have on here) this board should be expanded to cover ALL the 3D universes out there. NOT JUST SECOND LIFE.

Don't get me wrong. SL has its place BUT it's not the only virtual reality universe out there. There are dozens of them. I hang out on ActiveWorlds. In fact, I'm building an entire city on one of the public building worlds there (Have been building it off and on for the last several years). My latest pet project is a trendy restaurant which will be tied into my audio podcast. Tried doing a video podcast while doing an audio podcast but I have enough distractions when I'm NOT on ActiveWorlds while doing my show. Being on AW would just simply add yet another distraction I don't need. In fact, the problem was so bad in my first couple of shows that I had to seperate the audio podcast from the video podcast, yet still take callers on both shows.

Maybe if I can get a co-host or two though..... wink.gif

But seriously though (And back to my point at hand), it's time that this board either be EXpanded to cover ALL the 3D chat universes or DISbanded as it serves no real useful purpose in its current form.

Just my honest & straightforward opinion.....

Cheers biggrin.gif

Hmm, I knew there was live Music in SL, but I wasn't aware there were podcasts. I use to DJ in-world for about a Year before focusing on real Music Projects. I never knew anyone there that did any sort of Podcasting.
