We wanted to give you guys a free pack of Audio Idents for use in your projects.

What are Idents?
Audio Idents are short bursts of music. They have been designed so that you can overlay voiceover and sound effects to create unique and memorable Idents for your project or brand. They can be used effectively to accompany credit screens and logos. They can also be used as Stings and Bumpers to signify chapter changes, introductions and endings.

License and Use
These 6 Audio Idents may be used for any personal or commercial project such as Podcasts, videos, presentations, websites or other multimedia. However they may not be used for any TV broadcast or third party product advertising.

I just access to the Youtube website for a few month, and I wanna download music videos from it. My friend and I both like rock’n roll very much, we often shoping at the CD’n VCD retails to search our favorite band or album. But since we are just students and don’t have much pocket money, the most way we can use is download them from youtube, myspce & etc. And meanwhile we need a high speed downloading tool to help us to maintain the quality and convert the formats, of cause it would better be free.
I’m sorry to wasting your time by asking this stupid question, but I’ve used many softwares which I searched from google, but It’s either function limited by trial edition or not a free edition.

Have you tried Zamzar?

WOW - thanks for the free music indents! Much appreciated smile.gif

And CrayDeng:

I note your question about downloading youtube and other similiar videos/audios - there is a solution of sorts, although it is fairly basic and will only download youtube videos in flv (flash format) - but at least you can download and watch them on your computer at your leisure!

POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
There is a free website which allows you to enter in the website address/URL of a video and download it from there in flash format (an online resource) - it doesn't convert files for you (although there are links there to other sites, which provide such tools, but these are paid vsns).

The following sounds complicated, but when you go to the website, its very simple:

First: Go to the website - http://www.keepvid.com

2. Copy the website address/URL link of the youtube video (not the embedd code) - just the video URL, into the text box provided.

3. Then choose which site you want it downloaded from (there is a drop-down menu next to the text box) - eg select youtube, myspace, or other site - there are several sites to select from.

4. If the site recognises the URL, a download link will appear for you just below the text box.

5. Download it to your computer (right click on the link, or left click depending on your browser) and save 'target as' or 'link as' to a folder on your desktop computer

Note: the downloaded video will only have the title 'get_file' or similiar (can't remember exactly).

6. So, you need to rename it to the title of the video you have downloaded - and make sure you add the extension .flv (the website gives you brief instructions on this)

- eg. rename it: thevideotitle.flv

By renaming your download - this will turn it into a flash file on your computer, which you can immediately view.

The video is now on your computer smile.gif

I hope this helps? If you have any problems, or the website link is incorrect, please let me know.

I have downloaded many youtube and other types of videos/audios using this website online tool

Wishing you the best of luck!

Meg

But Zamzar does the same thing, is free, and lets you convert to any of several formats, including MPG, M4V, and MP4. I don't get why Keepvid would be better.

I use Save2PC (http://www.save2pc.com). It's a free download and it allows for multiple formats. The light version is the free version; the only appearent difference is that the paid version allows for multiple downloads at the same time, but it is possible to run multiple insitances of the light program at the same time.

I like vixy.net for its many options, or for a Mac standalone, try tooble.

hey - thanks for all of your great resources/websites for downloading videos! smile.gif

And just to note - re: my reply about www.keepvid.com
- I didn't say that www.keepvid.com was better - just wanted to bring attention to it as a possible solution and was going to have a look at zamzar aftewards.

I should have looked at it first - thanks smile.gif

I will also have a look at the other downloading resources.
thanks again all smile.gif

I for one don't prefer sites for downloading vids coz usually it's a big lose in the file's quality so I got a tool for downloading musics from web sites or from web radio, Tunebite. Also it's a converter, it supports I think over 60 formats... wink.gif

Any Audio Converter & Any Video Converter (Both free downloadable applications) are EXCELLENT Windows applications.

Another great one is Free Video Converter from Koyote Software. It too is a free downloadable Windows application.

All three convert into MANY different formats.

Hope this helps.....
