Hi All,
I'm looking to make our website more interactive for our audience. Our fans are generally teens through early college, female, and used to sites like MySpace and YouTube. I want to capitalize on that by incorporating a widget on our website that allows for them to share pictures, slideshows and videos.
To help keep the lawyers at bay, and to make things easier and cheaper for us, I was looking for an existing tool tied into a service like YouTube, MySpace, Photobucket or Flickr, where if someone has an account and password, they can either use a widget on our site to assign and display existing media, or to upload through a portal on our site. You could even make it so that you have to be a member of a group (like MySpace or YouTube) to have your media shown. Optimally, it would be a script I could embed in our site like you can with Frappr Maps.
Does anyone know if there's a service out there that will let you do something like this? PhotoBucket has something close, but it's only for one account, and aside from the ToS nightmare of letting more than one user access it, I would need to pay for a premium account to cover the potential storage space. I would try writing something like this, but I don't know how, to be honest.
Thanks in advance,
Eric
