I stumbled on Sam Has 7 Friends in the cast wars, and considering I'd never heard of it before, I suspect most of us haven't. I have nothing to do with these guys, I just figured they deserved a spotlight.

I've only watched the first 2 "episodes," each of which is like 90 seconds long, but it looks pretty promising. Episode 2 ends fairly... Ow. Yeah. Though I saw it coming, it was still pretty good. The show is marked Explicit for a reason.

So anyway, it's a vidcast, it's interesting, it's been going (week)daily since August, and you should check it out!

Been watching it for some time. Met Marcus Blakely at PPME, thanks to Lance Anderson. Inspired by Twin Peaks, which we absolutely loved. Highly recommend this vidcast.

Yeah. I'm totally hooked too. I've watched them all. The acting is hit and miss but the script and camera work is very good.

Yep, I saw it coming too. I just didn't think it would be so humorous when it did.

I'll admit, I've never really checked out the vidcasts. It's tough while at work...but that's not to say I won't and maybe I'll start with your suggestion.

You don't know what you're missing. There are many fantastic video podcasts out there worth checking out. Most are short and to the point, simply because of the bandwidth and the extra work involved.

I'm in the same category. I don't watch vidcasts simply because I do not have the time (the free time I am able to find I end up spending in my darkroom). Audio podcasts are something I can listen to at work or while doing other things, not so video podcasts. I'm sure that there are a lot of good ones out there, which is too bad.

I had the same problem, but then I came up with the solution. I listen to audio podcasts while I go about my day-to-life, puttering around the house and driving. I save the video for bathroom time. Twice a day I take a dump. I just plunk myself down on the toilet with my next video while I wait for peristalsis to do its thing. (Hmm, maybe that's why Microsoft selected brown as a color for the new Zune.)

I watched the entire SH7F season. I was talking about it to a friend the other day and he's never heard of it. Are there still videos out there? I looked on YouTube which is where I saw it but they are all down.

This is off topic, sort of, but I've never understood people who multitask (usually reading, but your video watching falls in this category too) while sitting on the toilet. I do my business and get the hell out of there as soon as possible due to the stench. I'm not going to intentionally spend more time than necessary in there.

The site's still there, but I can't find the videos, and the feedburner feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/SamHas7Friends) is empty.

Hopefully it's because they pulled them to prepare for season 2, but I suspect it's because they abandoned the project. I mean, why remove the single biggest advertisement?
