Do we have to assume that they would actually want to HAVE us on their podcast?

I can think of a few, but I'm not sure they'd want me. ;-)

Truthfully, my choice will reveal what a total nerd I am. I'd like to be a co-host on Colonial Williamsburg: Past and Present. Getting to hang with colonial re-enactors (or "historical interpreters" as they call them), interviewing them and finding about their crafts, trades, training, and all the specialized stuff they do would be AWESOME!

TOTALLY AWESOME!

I'd go hang with the gang at CoasterRadio.com.

They don't advertise themselves as experts, just fans. I could meet that criteria. smile.gif

Great topic!

If I had a chance I would love to do a show with Daryl Cognito(Poddog)-but I don't think Kuma would move out of her co-host seat.

Or, Damon at The Official Lost Podcast-because he is a hoot!

Or Shelly at Shelly's Podcast-I think her sense of humor and mine would click.

I would love to do a show with the kids from Wicked Good Podcast-but even more fun would be to go to some garage sales with them.

The obvious answer would be "Geek Acres" and we keep talking about doing some recording together.

Failing that, hmm. Podshock would be fun. I know, I'd join comedy4cast! I'm funny, honest!

Man I an tossed up on this one. But I would have to say there are two that I would hook up with so to speak.

Gabber Jaw. They are funny and I think I could fit in with them well. At least in the forums, Wendy and I have a pretty good banter. I think I could fit in well. It would then be called, Gabber Jaw with John, Wendy and Dummy

The Twisted Pickle. This would then be a buddycast (not a couple cast). We are two guys going through very simular things at the same time. It could be fun, but we would have to change the name to something like Barely Twisted (Barely Pickle doesn't sound good. I also give myself top billing just because Barely is an adjative, I think)

First of all, it's great to be back on the Pickle after a couple of absent weeks.

If Jeff ever called in sick, I'd like to join Scott on Podcheck Review. I'm not the first to say this, but it would be fun.

Then there's Borderline (for the super cool company AND the booze).

Maybe Mac OS Ken would let me do a guest commentary?

OK, I might as well let my geek flag fly high. I'd like to hang out on Pottercast. I like Harry Potter geeks, and these guys are the super-smart grown-up ones.

I'm leaving out all the male roundtable shows where I've found myself yelling "get a woman on there!" because I'm not sure I could get a word in edgewise. but if Leo wants to invite me on, I'll think about it.

I would join up with Nowhere in Mulberry. They talk about most of the shows I watch and the movies I like

I would just need directions to Mulberry

anyone got a map?

I'd be able to pester Steve Dopont of the Obtuse Angle full time, rather than on the part time basis that I do now.

um. ill have you as a cohost j.e.f.

i need someone to bite panties on my show. an important missing facet of my show at this time.

um. barring that, i'd be (wanted or not) on Cult of UHF with the Rev. I would be his Deacon Bonk. Perhaps a deaconess, even. Or are we all Reverends in the Cult?

That's tough, because the hosts I can think of do so well on their own (or within their current team).

Daryl
John and Wendy
Dan Klaas
Mur Lafferty
Me and the Bean (Chad and Amanda)

There are many others, but those five (seven) of the top of my head can really keep a show moving, and I'd think any other co-host might mess up the chemistry.

Then again, Me and the Bean did great trading hosts with Hometown Tales...

The best podcast to which I'm subscribed is Down In The Flood, so that would be my obvious choice.

If I had to join forces, it probably would be some sports show that wants to add some MMA talk and needs an MMA expert to chime in on current events.
