Tech Podcast Network Membership Open Again Options

Over the past several months we went through and completely re-designed the techpodcasts.com website, during that time the membership application section was closed, I re-opened it yesterday with the new submission system which automates much of the processing of applications. As a side note, the entire site is using MovableType and all of the RSS aggregation we are doing in the Affiliate section was code we had written which gives affiliates a second point of presence on the net, we can now add member podcast to the website very easily through a central MT interface and updating it is as easy as entering data into a form, I am pretty happy with the total integration. We have a couple of more pieces we need to put in place but overall the money we paid for development was well worth it from a management objective.

Why apply to be a member at the Tech Podcast Network? Membership allows you to submit to the weekly Tech Podcast This Week production which gets over 10k in downloads weekly and also the ability to participate in the Live Roundtables to get you and your show exposure, the last Round Table had a higher than normal post show download rate but typically we see about 25,000 downloads which is not bad for a show done once a month.
