Very nice, I had a couple favorites this time around. I liked the "History of Advertising"; anything that mentions Shakespeare makes me happy.  And the "War of the Words" was priceless, especially coming right after "Ulla" on EscapePod. (I will never be able to read H.G. Wells in quite the same way again ...) That's always been a story I liked, and Wells was one of the first science fiction authors I read. But making fun of scientology, Tom Cruise, and L. Ron Hubbard ... I was laughing out loud for that one. "Santa" has got my vote. Anemone (Steve Eley rocks!) |
