				<text><![CDATA[This cast is ambitious as all hell.   They try several different experimental techniques, and don't fail at any of them. <br><br>I'm not sure if it is wise to allow the audience to control the story, but I admire the hell out of someone with the courage to try. <br><br>As mentioned below, the cast is large and complex, the plot threads are complex - particulary with the "choose your own" technique.  <br><br>Unfortunately the center is missing. The story isn't strong enough to support all the experimental techniques.   Prisoners surprised by the notion that they are being monitored in prison.  Galactic galahads funded and equipped to compete with planetary opponents.  The net effect is to leave me with a suspicion of Costikyan's "plucky little England" syndrome - that the protagonists are heroes cause they have a special relationship with the writers. Unlike the villians they don't have to pay mortgages, answer to higher authorities, make moral compromises, or poop twice a day.  ]]></text>
