    <title> Cathedral of HIS Glory</title>
    <link>http://cohglory.podOmatic.com</link>
    <description>The Cathedral of HIS Glory is &#8220;different people with different backgrounds using different gifts at different places to meet different needs - all for God&#8217;s glory! The Cathedral of His Glory is not only a church; it is a &#8220;Cathedral&#8221;. The word &#8220;Cathedral&#8221; means a &#8220;large mother of churches&#8221;. The local church should be large. The church in Jerusalem had 3,000 members on the first day (Acts 2:41). It takes the resources of a great number of members to pray for and finance world evangelism! The Cathedral is a &#8220;mother of churches&#8221;. Over 100 independent churches have come out of the Cathedral of His Glory in the United States. Ministries of His Glory in Central America is supported by and under the Cathedral&#8217;s mission program. The Cathedral&#8217;s television ministry, &#8220;A Word From Glory&#8221;, reaches millions each week. </description>

      <title>820 - Accept the Acceptance </title>
      <description>Ephesians 1:1-7 (King James Version)
Ephesians 1

1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

    *

      God came to Adam and Eve and had a relationship with them. God pursued Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets. God is the one that take the initiative.

      <title>819 - Approaching the Good News </title>
      <description>Exodus 3:1 - 17 (NKJV) 1Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. 3Then Moses said, &#8220;I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.&#8221; 4So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, &#8220;Moses, Moses!&#8221; And he said, &#8220;Here I am.&#8221; 5Then He said, &#8220;Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.&#8221;

6Moreover He said, &#8220;I am the God of your father&#8212;the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.&#8221; And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God. 7And the Lord said: &#8220;I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. 8So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. 9Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. 10Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.&#8221;

11But Moses said to God, &#8220;Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?&#8221; 12So He said, &#8220;I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.&#8221; 13Then Moses said to God, &#8220;Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, &#8216;The God of your fathers has sent me to you,&#8217; and they say to me, &#8216;What is His name?&#8217; what shall I say to them?&#8221; 14And God said to Moses, &#8220;I AM WHO I AM.&#8221; And He said, &#8220;Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, &#8216;I AM has sent me to you.&#8217;&#8221;

15Moreover God said to Moses, &#8220;Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: &#8216;The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.&#8217; 16Go and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, &#8216;The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, &#8220;I have surely visited you and seen what is done to you in Egypt; 17and I have said I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.&#8221;&#8217;

      <title>817 - Holding Steady </title>
      <description>Introduction: Those who missed last week&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s message, Things to Come, need to get a copy of the DVD of the program. It will help you understand the times. Where we are as a people and what future events are prophesied in the Bible. Today I want to speak to you on the importance of holding fast to your faith no matter what comes and keeping your witness. The Holy Spirit witnessed through John the course of history in the seven churches found in Revelation, chapters 2 &amp; 3. They follow a historical pattern.

The Church of Ephesus (Rev. 2:1-7) to about AD 100

The Church of Smyrna (Rev 2:8-11) was the Church of persecution to AD 313

The Church of Pergamum (Rev 2:12-17) the pragmatic church to AD 500

The Church of Thyatira (Rev 2:18-29) the church of the &#8220;dark ages&#8221; to AD 1500

The Church of Sardis (Rev 3:1-8) the Protestant reformation AD 1700

The Church of Philadelphia (Rev 3:7-13) the Great Awakening and Evangelical to AD ?

The Church of Laodicea (Rev 3: 14-22) the church that makes Christ sick to AD ?

      <title>816 - Things to Come</title>
      <description>Introduction: The Year of Our Lord 2010 is about to come. Wow! I never thought to see it. Of course, I know that the calendar is off. It is probably several years later than we think. For one thing, the Christian calendar miscalculated His birth and the year one did not start with His birth but with His first birthday. Yet people have always wondered about the future. I cannot tell the future but I can tell you &#8220;things to come.&#8221;

      <title>814 - Immanuel</title>
      <description>Introduction: The Syrians together with Israel were close at hand for the invasion of the territory of Judah. Ahaz, the grandson of king Uzziah, was king of Judah and he did not know what to do. God told Ahaz to ask for a sign as high as heaven or as low as hell. But the king would not - so God gave a sign!

Isaiah 7:10 - 16 (NKJV) 10Moreover the Lord spoke again to Ahaz, saying, 11&#8220;Ask a sign for yourself from the Lord your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above.&#8221; 12But Ahaz said, &#8220;I will not ask, nor will I test the Lord!&#8221; 13Then he said, &#8220;Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also? 14Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. 15Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good. 16For before the Child shall know to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land that you dread will be forsaken by both her kings.

Isaiah said that God whistled and brought Egypt up to take away both the Syrians and Israel - but the sign was one for everlasting peace &#8211; the sign was the &#8220;Child&#8221;

      <title>813 - The Power of Joy </title>
      <description>Nehemiah 8:8 - 12 (NKJV) 8So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading. 9And Nehemiah, who was the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, &#8220;This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn nor weep.&#8221; For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law. 10Then he said to them, &#8220;Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.&#8221; 11So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, &#8220;Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.&#8221; 12And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and rejoice greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.

Esau was &#8220;Daddy&#8217;s boy,&#8221; and Jacob was &#8220;Momma&#8217;s boy.&#8221;

Rebecca, &#8220;Mamma,&#8221; wanted her boy to have the blessing of the eldest.

When Isaac was old and blind, Rebecca devised a scheme to have &#8220;her Jacob&#8221; receive the blessing.

Esau was filled with such rage that he had thoughts of killing his brother.

Rebecca sent her son away to uncle Laban.

With Laban, Jacob prospered.

      <title>809 - How Does One Become a Christian? </title>
      <description>There are all kinds of theology and theory as to how, or what, it takes to be a Christian. Actually, the only way one can really know is by following the Scriptures. That&#8217;s what I want to do, follow the Scriptures so that you can be sure that you are &#8220;in Christ.&#8221;

Romans 3:21 - 26 (NKJV) 21But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

      <title>808 - Holy Spirit Baptism &amp; Gifts </title>
      <description>Introduction: The two great tasks of Jesus were to usher in salvation through the cross and to baptize the Church in the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3:7 - 12 (NKJV) 7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, &#8220;Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, 9and do not think to say to yourselves, &#8216;We have Abraham as our father.&#8217; For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. 10And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.&#8221;
