This is probably the nicest sentence my ears have heard in a long time. I’ve been on the edge of my seat, waiting to hear these words, with more anticipation than can be healthy. I’ve been checking my email every 5 minutes for a week and now it seems as though my wish is going to finally come true.

Thanks to Ricardo, (the best friend anyone could ever ask for), tomorrow I’m going to be the proud owner of an iPad 3G!

It’s amazing and I wish I could have more soon. I’m locking up my remaining bottles for the inevitable "special occasion".

They only sell Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout on one day a year, you can only buy it at the brewery and you need a "Golden Ticket" which this year was red to qualify to buy a max limit of four beers per person.

I thought we were crazy to arrive at 8:30am but when I saw about 300 people already in line, I changed my mind. More importantly when what seemed like another 500 people got in line behind us, I didn’t think it was crazy at all.

I wish the designation of the "official line" was better clarified. In the end, several lines converged into a final line to buy Dark Lord. I don’t think it would have been difficult to rope out the official line so anyone else entering the brewery property for the port-o-potties (which also created another perpendicular line to the "official line"), the food, other beers and to buy t-shirts didn’t have to conflict with the official line.

I did score my four Dark Lord Stouts, a cool t-shirt which gives me Beer Cred and got to drink some really good craft beer.
