Today, after voting; I cried a little bit. I have never been so proud to be an American and to be able to make my vote heard. Thank you everyone who helped this dream come true.

With all this talk about people reading into Obama’s recent use of the phrase “you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig,” the media is once again distracting us from moving forward. Why does it have anything to do with Sarah Palin? Just because she wears lipstick? Besides, politicians love this phrase, watch here as Dick Cheney and John McCain both have used it. Here is Barack’s follow up of and it does seem pretty silly in retrospect.
